It seems as though the Top Secret U.S. Air Force’s Boeing X-37B unmanned space-craft has been doing a bit of practice flying out in the Cosmos but without anyone, other than a few elite & select members of the human race, knowing about it!

Is this yet another spy-plane I wonder? ~ Or could it be the Shuttle’s replacement?

Will we ever know the true reasons why so much money is spent globally putting things into space with very little to show for it down here, other than mobile phones and extra TV stations which are, more often than not, full of rubbish content?  ~  Sorry about that little outburst there!  ~  I was thinking of some better things to spend the money on for a split second, silly me!

So it seems that ‘if it can happen here, it can happen anywhere’, including deep space & deep lakes! Perhaps now some of those who mock others that have witnessed ‘little grey men’, abductions and UFO’s will soon be eating their words, their disregard for other’s experiences and their biased non-objective opinions! ~ You should get a healthy dose of indigestion from that little lot!

If arsenic thriving life has been found on our planet, this proves without doubt that even all the experts and scientists put together do not yet know it all.  Even the Hollywood blockbuster movie-makers could not have dreamt this one up, let alone predict finding hard evidence for it!

Personally, I have thought for many years that there has to be many other life forms that we humans do not know of. Nor do we yet fully understand how life is created from the basic elements. What came first, the chicken or the egg? Well at first this seems to have no solution, but if such things are considered at microscopic or quantum levels then it may be a problem that could be solved with the help of billions of years of metamorphosis!

Secunia is a major supplier of security intelligence and provides a super free program, called PSI, for personal users of MS Windows operating systems, that helps home users identify and fix software on their PC that may be at risk of being attacked.

Their latest report shows that the software industry is unable (or maybe unwilling) to produce software without vulnerabilities being built in, and that includes the stuff we all must pay for the privilege of using! ~ This poses a question? ~ Are we actually paying for faulty goods that aparantly do not work adequately, even from the minute consumers take the item off of the shelf?

It seems that is very much the case! So, why pay for something which is broken from day one, you may as well use free software then bin it when there is something better and keep on top of the nasties by doing routine scans once a day.

Better still, keep one PC totally disconnected from the Internet for all the important stuff and have another using a Live Linux CD or DVD in the drive for safe surfing! Then, thanks to Linux, the problem’s solved! ~ But I doubt that everyone will do this as it will not be as convenient and will cost slightly more if you need to get a second PC/Laptop.

Oh well, I did try to help a little! ~ Of course, if the software industry employed all the criminals that produces the malicious code to write their software in the first place, then the problem would be virtually eliminated! But then many of the companies doing this would have few, or maybe even no, customers because there would be less attacks!

I wonder if some of them already employ the mal-ware writers to generate problems on our PC’s so we must then pay for the software to fix the problems? ~ Surely not! ~ They wouldn’t do that, would they?

The fraudsters then use JavaScript to change the contents and label of an open, but inactive, tab to mimic the log-in screen of a bank, email provider or online shopping store.

When you next log-in you could be using a fake screen to enter your details and the personal information provided is sent straight to the fraudsters. Nasty stuff, take care!

It is probably a word worth remembering because I suspect this relatively new material, discovered and developed at Manchester University (UK), will be something we will all encounter in our lives, one way or another and sometime relatively soon, due its advantageous mechanical and electrical properties. It has yet to be fully realised what its range of applications might be, since new details about its properties are still being investigated by various research establishments so there is probably more to come!

Whatever it is eventually used for remains to be seen, however, judging by what has been discovered thus far I suspect its future applications will make a significant impact on all our lives and the subsequent advancements and offshoots in technology that its properties are bound to bring about.

In fact, even if you are not a Facebook user it is well worth reading because the e-mail being sent randomly to seemingly everybody and anybody has an attachment containing a password stealing software that will capture all user-names and passwords entered onto a Windows PC!

As usual with these kind of things, a little forethought is the best form of defence when using a computer that is linked up to the Internet. The golden rule is never download or open any attachments that come with suspect e-mails. Even if you do know the sender, always scan them before opening!

Invariably companies never deal with passwords or user-names by sending an e-mail with attachments, they would simply ask you to log-in to your account or telephone them, so think before you open or download anything! ~ It may provide you with much more than you wanted!
